  1. Students must follow the teaching of the sacred Shariah of Islam in all aspects of life.

  2. Students must obey all the rules of Darul Uloom.

  3. Students must attend all classes and educational programmes of Darul Uloom and must attend the annual Jalsa and Graduation ceremony held by the school. In case of a valid excuse, students must inform the Principal or the office in writing.

  4. No students shall be permitted to leave Darul Uloom except with permission from the principal, or anyone authorized by him.

  5. Classes will be conducted from Mondays to Fridays.

  6. Student must take part in all sporting activities, physical exercises and excursions, as well as in all cleaning programmes of the compound.

  7. All local students who are staying in the Hostel must leave on Fridays after classes and should return on Monday morning before 8:15 a.m. Local students are not allowed to stay in the compound of the school on weekends except with permission of the principal.

  8. All foreign students must remain full time on the compound and are not allowed to visit any friend, relative or family member except with permission of the Principal.

  9. All foreign students must travel on a one-year return ticket to the Darul Uloom upon acceptance and will return home at the end of the school year in July.

  10. A student must dress according to the prescribed uniform, that is Jubba/Kurta, Taj (topi) and trousers for all classes, salaah and collective programmes. For sports and games, T-Shirts and tracksuits can be worn. The colour of the uniform is white.

  11. Student must have neat, short haircuts. Styles and fancy haircuts are not allowed. Students will be given a very low trim if they do not follow this rule.

  12. The vacation of Darul Uloom shall be as that of other schools, that is three weeks at Xmas, two weeks at Easter, eight weeks in July/August and all public holidays falling on Mondays and Fridays.

  13. For students’ misbehaviour or misconduct, the following disciplinary measures can be taken by the principal, or anyone authorized by him.

    • Lashes
    • Standing/Kneeling
    • Detention
    • Writing exercises

  14. Students must attend all congregational prayers (Salaah) and collective programmes.

  15. No student is allowed to disrespect or insult any teacher or worker of Darul Uloom. Such an act can lead to expulsion.

  16. Students can be expelled from Darul Uloom for continuous misbehaviour, misconduct or indiscipline.

  17. Students expelled from Darul Uloom shall have no legal recourse against the Darul Uloom. However, any complaint about the Principal’s decision shall be heard by the Administrative Committee or any one authorized by it.

  18. The subsidized school fee per term for boarding students is $1200.00 T.T. for local students and $1400.00 T.T. for foreigners. The fee for the non-Boarding students is $500.00 per term.

NOTE:

  1. The stated term fees are to be paid at the beginning of each term.

  2. Parents/Guardians who are unable to pay the full amount should consult the office of Darul Uloom.
