 Delaying the Ramadhan fast of a nursing mother. Q. Is it permissible for a breastfeeding mother to delay her Ramadhan fast and make it up after? A. If a breastfeeding mother fears that by observing the fast it can harm the nursing baby, then it is permissible for her to delay the Ramadhan fasts and make it up afterwards. And Allah knows best.
