 Praying when azan is being called. Q. Can we pray when azan is going on for that salaat? A. If you have not started to pray any Sunnah or Nafl as yet and the Azan begins, then you must not begin to perform any Salaah. You should give an answer to the Azan by repeating the words when they are called by the Mu’azin. However, if the Azan starts when you are already in your Salaah, then you can continue in your Salaah until you complete it. And Allah knows best. Mufti Waseem Khan |
