 Taking a step in Salaah. Q. I have noticed that when certain brothers come late for a salaah and they have to make up for a rakaah, they either take a step forward or backward, sometimes two steps. Can you please explain why they do that? A. I have not seen the above mentioned action in any tradition or book of Fiqh. I have also not seen or heard about this practice before.
