 Surah Iklas in Tahajjud Salaah. Q. I have read that Tahajudh can be read minimum of 2 rakaats and maximum of 12. My question is: If I'm only reading 4 rakaats for Tahajudh, can I read Surah Iklas in the 4 rakaats as follows: 1st rakaat - once 2nd rakaat - twice 3rd rakaat - three times 4th rakaat - four times Also are there signs of Imam Mahdi yet? A. It is permissible to recite any surah, including Sura Iklas in any rakaat of Salaah, whether Tahajjud or another Salaah. However to recite it in the manner you have described is not evident from the teachings of the Prophet (S.A) or his actions. Recitation of Quraan in the Tahajjud salaah is the same as recitation in other salaah. I am in no position to say whether there are signs of Imam Mahdi or not. And Allah knows best.
