We are pleased to present the latest update of halal certified food places and products.

We urge you as usual to ensure that the certificates posted at these premises are valid and that the name on the certificate corresponds with the establishment. On many occasions food places post a copy of the Halaal certificate issued to large poultry processors or foreign Halaal certificates. The posting of this certificate only means that the food establishment purchases its poultry from the processor or company, however, other issues need to be considered, such as, whether the meat is prepared in a Halaal method, the presence of alcohol or pork on the premises and the issue of contamination between Halaal and non-Halaal products.

There is also another problem. Food establishments without a Halaal certificate in their name may purchase Halaal meat in order to obtain a Halaal certificate, then continue to purchase non-Halaal which may be less expensive. On the other hand, duly certified food places sign a contract which binds them to continue to purchase from approved suppliers only.

It is therefore very important to support Halaal certified food outlets only.

    All ice creams and lollies are Halaal for consumption except rum and raisin, cassata and all Flavorite yoghurts.
  2. Willies Ice Cream Ltd.
    All ice creams are Halaal for consumption.
  3. Gelato Authentic Italian Ice Cream
    All flavours are Halaal for consumption except teramisu, rum and raisin and baileys.
  4. Dairy Bar
    All flavours are Halaal for consumption except strawberry, rum and raisin and pistachio.
  5. B’s Home Made Ice Cream Ltd. - Industry Lane, Champ Fleurs
    All flavours are Halaal for consumption except rum and raisin and guiness.
  6. KFC.
