Hazrat Abu Musa (R.A) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: “Keep refreshing  your knowledge of the Quraan, for by the one in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, it is more inclined to escape (from the heart) than a camel from its rope.” (Muslim, Hadith No. 1844, Pg. 320, Published by Darussalam)

Hazrat Juhaifa (R.A) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Sit in the company of the pious, ask the knowledgeable ones and associate with the wise.” (Mujma Az  Zawaaid, Hadith No. 519, Pg.334, Vol.1, Published by Darul Fikr)

“There is no worse calamity for knowledge and its people than when outsiders intrude. They are ignorant, but presume to know. They cause trouble, yet, think that they are helping.” (Imam Ibn Hazm [Rahimahullah])

Abdul Malik bin Umair (R.A) narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Abdullah bin Masood (R.A) that he narrated from his father, from the Prophet (SAW) who said, “May Allah beautify a man who hears a saying of mine, so he understands it, remembers it, and conveys it. Perharps he carries the Fiqh to one who has more understanding than him. There are three with which the heart of a Muslim shall not be deceived: Sincerity in deeds for Allah, giving advice to the A’immah (leaders) of the Muslims ,and sticking to the Jama’ah (Muslim Community). For indeed the (Muslim’s) call/Dua protects them.” (Tirmizi, Hadith No. 2658, Pg. 257, Vol. 2, Published by Altaf and Sons)
